CODE V 11.1 Service Release 1 Now Available

We are pleased to announce that CODE V 11.1 Service Release 1 (SR1) is now available with the following updates.

  • New Osaka Gas Chemicals and Zeon Corp. plastic catalogs, as well as updates to the CDGM, Hoya, NHG, Ohara and Sumita optical glass catalogs.

  • Several bug fixes, including:
    • BSP: Fixes an issue in BSP where far-field resampling was not working correctly for some cases when the light was propagating in the negative Z-direction (e.g., following reflection from a plane-mirror).
    • SpecBuilder: Fixes an issue where the SpecBuilder Telecentricity specification sometimes reported telecentricity as negative. SpecBuilder now defines telecentricity as the magnitude of the angle of the chief ray at the image for a given field point.
    • CODE V Macro-PLUS: Fixes an issue where the drop (DRO) command did not work for a user-defined function that had the same name as a predefined function.

For more details about these and other updates, refer to the CODE V 11.1 SR1 readme file available with the release software.
