CODE V Cost Estimator Tool Available on the Customer Portal

The CODE V Cost Estimator Tool is a COM-based utility used to create an ISO-10110 based XML file that describes a single element. The file includes prescription information, tolerances, coatings, and cosmetic specifications for elements that use spherical (SPH), conic (CON) or aspheric (ASP) surface types. The XML-file can be uploaded to the Optimax Systems, Inc. Estimator on-line tool (https://estimator.optimaxsi.com) to provide lens element fabrication cost estimates for prototype quantities.

This tool allows you to import the resident lens directly from CODE V, or to open a .LEN or lens-based .SEQ file.  Within the tool, you can modify the apertures, tolerances, coatings, surface roughness and surface cosmetics, before generating the file.
