CODE V offers a comprehensive suite of tools to help you specify and design state-of-the-art imaging systems. CODE V tools can help you keep track of important system specifications, find starting designs, select the most effective aspheric surfaces, and choose glasses based on performance, cost, weight, and more.

To see how these tools can be used together, download the new CODE V Compact Lens Design tutorial, available on the Customer Support Portal. In this tutorial, you’ll learn how to:

  • Track design performance against requirements using SpecBuilder
  • Find a suitable starting point
  • Analyze the lens
  • Improve performance using optimization

Advanced Topics in CODE V

April 2-4, 2019
Synopsys, Inc.
Mountain View, CA

This short course will give current users of CODE V an opportunity to learn in depth about some of CODE V’s most powerful features.

Demonstrations and hands-on workshops are used to show variations on standard analyses and specialized techniques. You will learn how to solve current problems more effectively and discover new applications for CODE V in your work.

This seminar does not teach the basics of CODE V, but rather the usage of advanced features in CODE V. It assumes the attendees have a reasonable familiarity with CODE V. Attendees should already know how to enter lenses, perform analyses, optimize systems, and tolerance lenses in CODE V.
