New CODE V Example Models

CODE V example models provide opportunities to explore CODE V’s extensive design and analysis capabilities as you work on practical examples. Get a head start designing your next imaging application with example models in CODE V.  We have recently added the following example models to SolvNetPlus:

CODE V Example Model - APP_PixelLight_Workflow_PartI | Synopsys

  • PixelLight_Workflow_PartI
This example demonstrates the workflow of using CODE V to design a pixel headlamp. We will start with a patent lens, scale to desired effective focal length, set system data, optimize with constraints, and analyze system performance.
CODE V Example Model - LDM_InterferogramFiles_Basics | Synopsys

  • LDM_InterferogramFiles_Basics
Interferogram (INT) files offer a flexible way to incorporate 2D data in CODE V. This example model describes the INT file format and demonstrates how to use interferometer measurements to aid in optical system alignment.
CODE V Example Model - LDM_PerformanceBasedCoating | Synopsys

  • LDM_PerformanceBasedCoating
This example discusses how to define a performance-based coating and other options to define an ideal transmittance.
CODE V Example Model - CVLT_Interoperability_Intro | Synopsys

  • CVLT_Interoperability_Intro
This example describes how to export and update a system from CODE V to LightTools.

Spark of Love Collection Drive at Synopsys Pasadena | Synopsys

In December on#GivingTuesday, Synopsys employees from the Pasadena office participated in the annual Spark of Love toy drive. As part of tradition, we invited the local Pasadena Fire Department for a delicious breakfast at the office and took our group photo in front of the fire truck. Shoutout to our retirees who joined us for the event. We're thrilled that our local news ABC7 Los Angeles was also there to capture the moment. We love doing this every year!
