CODE V 2024.03 Now Available

The new CODE V 2024.03 release offers improved design workflow, faster image simulation, and enhanced learning capabilities. New features like Multi-Environment Coupling, an expanded Example Model Library, and metalens have been introduced for efficient and diverse optical design possibilities. Interoperability has been improved with LightTools and RSoft, simplifying the overall workflow. These features aim to save time, reduce errors, and provide comprehensive system analysis, catering to different markets like automotive, aerospace and defense, and consumer electronics.

  • Introduction of Multi-Environment Coupling for optimizing athermalized spacer-based lens designs across vast temperature ranges.
  • Facilitation of modeling environmental changes in spacer-based lens designs and visualizing opto-mechanical interfaces.
  • Interoperability feature enables export of Multi-Environment Coupling models to LightTools for further analysis.
  • Introduction of metalenses for optimizing meta optic surfaces using fast ray tracing and manipulation of polarization in an efficient manner.
  • Improved interoperability with RSoft Photonic Device Tools, enabling use of transfer function/BSDF to communicate meta-atom properties.
  • Faster image simulation due to more efficient compute routines
  • Expansion of Example Model Library with 11 new examples, facilitating quicker design initiation.
  • Enhanced design workflow with more capabilities for faster processing and high convenience.
