Modeling Diffuse Plastics

There is a glowing trend in illumination optics: diffuse plastics. A stroll down the aisles of an auto show or even the lighting aisle of a home improvement store can prove that the modern aesthetic requires almost every type of light to have a smooth lit and unlit appearance. Design Competition

Students are invited to enter an optical design class assignment or thesis work completed during the 2019-2020 academic year using LightTools. Entries are due June 15, 2020. Awards totaling $10,000 will be granted. Enter your project today!
