Dear Synopsys Customer:

If you are using the Synopsys SiVL products on the IA-64 (Itanium) platform, please read this letter carefully.

Synopsys announced the end-of-life for support of the IA-64 platform in June 2006,

Accordingly, the Synopsys SiVL product release Y-2006.12-SP1, will be the final shipping release that supports the IA-64 platform. Subsequent new releases will no longer support this platform. Older releases of the Synopsys SiVL product family will continue to support the IA-64 platform until the next feature release.

By providing you with this notice, we hope to help minimize your inconvenience in implementing this change. If you are affected by this change, Synopsys is available to assist you in the migration of your Synopsys products to another supported compute platform.

Please refer to the SiVL product family documentation for product specific information concerning compute platform support.
