Cloud native EDA tools & pre-optimized hardware platforms
ECOC is Europe’s largest event on optical communications. In this year’s in-person event, Synopsys will feature its photonic IC design products and 112G/224G Ethernet IP for optics designs. See various demos in our booth and our partner’s booth, network with experts, and find out how to meet the requirements of your energy-efficient, high-performance devices, systems, and SoCs.
Synopsys will demo its photonic design and high-speed Ethernet IP solutions at ECOC 2023. Stop by booth #126 to speak with our experts.
See how OptoCompiler -- the industry’s first unified electronic and photonic design platform -- combines mature and dedicated photonic technology with Synopsys’ industry-proven electronic design tools to enable engineers to produce and verify complex photonic IC designs quickly and accurately.
This demo will show how RSoft Photonic Device Tools, Sentaurus TCAD and Custom PDK Utility are seamlessly integrated to design and optimize photonic devices and to automatically create symbols, layout and models for OptoCompiler and OptSim.
Learn how OptSim provides photonic system modeling capabilities and real application scenarios using extensive industry specifications. Whether you are interested in maximizing performance, minimizing costs, reducing time to market, fast prototyping, or analyzing multiple "what-if" scenarios for optical communication systems, OptSim is your tool of choice.
At the conference, Sivers Photonics and Synopsys will jointly host an application demo on the impact of multipath interference (MPI) in high-speed PAM4 optical data links. The design uses a Sivers Photonics DFB Laser commonly used in 400G/800G Ethernet, datacenter & enterprise networking, and silicon photonics applications. Optical multipath interference noise in high-speed PAM4 links is a key contributor to performance impairments along with the transmitter and channel properties such as relative intensity noise (RIN), laser linewidth, dispersive and nonlinear behavior of the fiber. Stop by our booth # 126 to learn more about the MPI-induced transmitter dispersion eye-closure quaternary (TDECQ) penalties in high-speed PAM4 systems.
