Course Description
LucidShape CAA V5 Based is an interactive development environment for optical simulation and
analysis integrated into the CATIA® V5 platform. Because of the tool’s complete integration within
CATIA V5, designers who are familiar with CATIA can easily leverage LucidShape’s powerful features
to produce, with a minimal learning curve, automotive lighting products that meet performance,
styling, visual branding and regulatory requirements.
Course Goals
This course provides a detailed introduction of LucidShape CAA usage for analysis of lighting and optical product function as well as for the Light Guide design. You will learn about the basics of illumination simulations, advanced material types, analysis, light guide design, and more…
Course Format and Pricing
This online course will combine lectures and demonstrations, as well as hands-on examples and workshop problems. Questions and discussions are encouraged.

Current users of LucidShape CAA are invited to attend these training sessions. Training sessions are subject to space limitations and topics are subject to change without prior notification
Prerequisites and Notes:
- Attendees must use their own laptops with the latest version of LucidShape CAA installed.
- Synopsys can provide license key files if needed.
- Tuition includes teaching materials.
- Tuition much be paid in full 10 days after the training.
- Minimum enrollments apply: if there are fewer than four participants, we will cancel the training and postpone your participation to the next training
