Description
This talk presents the optical design workflow for a light carpet projection system with a microlens array. We’ll demonstrate a solution for a multi-material lens optimization and show how to calculate a mask for an image projected on an arbitrary target illumination plane. We’ll discuss typical automotive applications, limitations of the process, and additional projects such as animated projections.
