Course Description
CODE V features a powerful scripting language, Macro-PLUS, along with an Application Programming Interface (API). Using these tools, you can develop custom routines to automate analysis or implement sophisticated design flows.
In this live online short course, you will learn how to use Macro-PLUS to create your own macros and how to use the CODE V API to interface with other tools.
This course assumes you are familiar with CODE V and have access to MATLAB, Python, or Microsoft Visual Basic for Applications (VBA, which is provided with Microsoft Excel).
This course will show how to:
- Get started with CODE V Macro-PLUS
- Learn how to develop macros to analyze your lens or implement sophisticated design routines
- Understand the CODE V database
- Use CODE V commands, Worksheet Buffers, and User-Charting
- Exchange data between CODE V and MATLAB, Python, or Microsoft VBA using the CODE V API
Attendees must provide their own computer with:
- The latest version of CODE V installed
- Either MATLAB, Python, or Microsoft Excel's Visual Basic for Applications (VBA) installed on the same computer
CODE V must be installed as a Windows program on the computer before attending the course. You must have administrator-level privileges on the computer. Any engineer, designer, or scientist familiar with CODE V who wants to learn how to automate their design flow, or exchange CODE V data with other math programs.
Registration and Fees
The fee for this short course is $500.
Attendance is limited. Pre-registration with payment must be made at least one week before the start of the course. The fee is refundable up to that point. (A $200 fee is charged for later cancellations.)
