Electronic Steering Control
Overview
Many traditional mechanical systems are being converted to electronic versions. Electronic components are lighter, helping to improve fuel efficiency. Electronic steering also improves vehicle safety by aligning steering control to vehicle speed. ARC® EM processors with Safety Enhancement Package (SEP) option combine efficient embedded processing with ISO 26262 compliance support to accelerate the development of these “drive by wire” applications.
