Course Description

This course is designed for current LucidShape CAA V5 Based users who want to perform specialized analysis, create flexible geometry or optimize advanced illumination designs. 

You will learn more about simulation tools and new functionalities, such as Advanced Analysis tool, new types of sources, patterns creations, etc.

You will explore deeper the design and light guide modules in order to manage optimizing more complex designs such as lenses, reflectors, light guides, cover glasses, etc. 

Visualization and rendering examples will also be covered. 

This course includes advanced know-how and tips & tricks for improving your results’ quality and speed-up your design process. 

Course Goals

This course provides an advanced description of LucidShape CAA usage. After the training, you will be able to use LucidShape CAA for designing, simulating, optimizing and delivering light simulations results and optical designs. 

Course Format and Pricing

This online course will combine lectures and demonstrations, as well as hands-on examples and workshop problems. Questions and discussions are encouraged.

Schedule 3 days: 9:00am – 12:00pm / 2:00pm – 5:00pm

Who Should Attend?

Current users of LucidShape CAA with already an intermediate knowledge, or who have already attended the introduction training are invited to attend these training sessions. Training sessions are subject to space limitations and topics are subject to change without prior notification. 

Prerequisites and Notes:

  • Attendees must use their own laptops with the latest version of LucidShape CAA installed.
  • Synopsys can provide license key files if needed.
  • Tuition includes teaching materials.
  • Tuition much be paid in full 10 days after the training.
  • Minimum enrollments apply: if there are fewer than four participants, we will cancel the training and postpone your participation to the next training
