Description

Micro-light-emitting diode (µLED) with high peak brightness, true dark state, small pixel size, and low power consumption is emerging as a potentially disruptive display technology. Efficient extraction and collimation of the light generated by µLED panels remains a major challenge. This technology requires design capabilities from optical as well electrical aspects. For the optical part, a designer would benefit from rigorous (Maxwell solvers based) approach and from system level using raytracing software.
