Course Description

Color analysis is important throughout optical product development. Early in the development process, color simulations help designers assess spectral light propagation and identify possible color mixing issues. Once the design concept has been selected, color measurements can be included in various analyses to help ensure that the design meets requirements. In final design stages, color measurements can be included in photorealistic renderings for accurate product visualizations.

LucidShape CAA V5 Based supports spectral simulations for physically accurate colorimetric results in all product development stages.

In this talk, you will learn:

  • How LucidShape CAA V5 Based helps you get a colorimetric measurement over a simulation result.
  • How to compare chromatic coordinates against international regulations.
  • Ways to apply color measurements to different analysis types (intensity, luminance, etc.).

We will show specific application examples, including light guide color shift, red-green-blue LED simulation, stop lamp regulation checking, and more!

Who should attend?

  • Optical engineers who want to learn more about colorimetric simulations and measurements.
  • Managers who want to be able to check colorimetric results.
