CODE V: Solutions for Imaging Systems

CODE V includes new solutions to increase optical engineering productivity, support cost-to-manufacture savings, and give reliable results in less time. The latest version includes these latest features:

  • Expanded CAD Model Support
  • New Freeform Surfaces for Compact Optical Systems
  • SpecBuilder Improvements

Photonic Component and Optical Communication Design

The RSoft Photonic Device Tools provide a full spectrum of design, optimization and simulation tools for passive and active photonics devices, as well as for the design, simulation, and planning of optical communications. The Photonic System Tools allow users to design and simulate current and next generation optical communication systems at the signal propagation level.

LightTools: Solutions for Illumination Systems

LightTools 9.0 includes enhanced modeling and simulation for reducing stray light in optical systems. Other improvements include:

  • User Materials Expanded to Support Birefringence
  • Polarization Charts Added
  • Simulation Maximum Increased to 1000 Billion Rays
  • Scatter Aiming Capability Extended to Measured BSDF Surfaces
