The Synopsys ARC® Audio FLAC Decoder for the Synopsys ARC AS211SFX and AS221BD audio processors is a high-performance decoder for Free Lossless Audio Codec (FLAC) audio sources. FLAC provides a bit-to-bit identical encoding/decoding ('lossless') algorithm optimized for audio streams. Based on an open-source standard, this codec is very popular for many applications including media devices such as portable players, A/V receivers, media boxes and audio streaming consoles.
The Synopsys ARC Audio FLAC Decoder is optimized for low processor load and small memory footprint.
