International Microelectronics Olympiad
Creating a Community of Aspiring Engineers
The International Microelectronics Olympiad is established by Synopsys in 2006 under the patronage of the Prime Minister of Armenia and is held in cooperation with IEEE Computer Society TTTC.
The Olympiad is an annual knowledge-based global contest aimed at:
- Recognizing and inspiring young engineers
- Sharing knowledge and experience
- Creating a community of microelectronics specialists
- Accelerating microelectronics talent on a global scale
Topics of the Olympiad:
- Digital IC design and test
- Analog/mixed-signal IC design and test
- Semiconductor devices and process technology
- Mathematical and algorithmic issues in EDA
Synopsys is the general organizer of the Olympiad.
