Larry Williams

Dr. Larry Williams is a Distinguished Engineer at Synopsys, responsible for driving strategy and application of advanced simulation and analysis products spanning electronics, structural mechanics, and fluid dynamics. He is best known for his work on HFSS, a 3D electromagnetic simulation tool for high‑frequency electronics and antennas. With more than two decades of experience in electromagnetics, communications, and signal integrity, he has published widely, lectured internationally, and serves on the UC Irvine Samueli School of Engineering Dean’s Leadership Council. He holds master’s, engineer’s, and Ph.D. degrees from UCLA.
