Synopsys Webinar
To adapt to new customer demands such as convenience, safety, autonomy, and electrification, the automotive industry is moving to software-defined vehicles (SDVs) based on more powerful electrical/electronic (E/E) architectures. Designers find themselves in need of safe and scalable combinations of real-time and applications processing as well as vehicle networking. This 30-minute webinar will explore ways to meet the evolving needs of SDV development including a solution for central compute based on super-integration processors.
Topics include:
Listed below are the industry leaders scheduled to speak.
Technical Director
NXP
As a Technical Director for Automotive Virtual Prototypes and Model-Based Architectural Analysis at NXP, Manfred Thanner is responsible for global automotive virtual prototype deployments in pre-silicon developments. He is the lead customer interface on microcontroller virtual prototypes for automotive products, managing international software projects for automotive system-level design simulations and methodologies. Manfred has more than 20 years of experience in automotive architecture, software, and simulation technology.
Senior Architect
Synopsys
Has worked in the virtual prototyping field for 18 years. With a strong focus on automotive, he has concentrated on technology deployment and product management in recent years, directly enabling and deploying virtual prototyping solutions at semiconductor, Tier 1, and OEM companies. He holds a master's degree in electronic engineering from Napier University and previously worked in the aerospace and defense domain.
