Ted Mido is a senior Architect of circuit simulation R&D group at Synopsys Inc. He received BS, MS and PhD. degrees in electrical and electronic engineering from the University of Tokyo, Japan. His research focus has been on analyzing high speed signaling systems in analog/mixed-signal ICs, high speed chip packages and printed circuit boards. Ted has published numerous technical papers on interconnect analyses, parasitic extractions and high-speed circuit simulations and analyses and holds multiple U.S. patents. He is an architect in the area of signal and power integrity in PrimeSim SPICE/HSPICE product family including frequency dependent circuit element characterizations, high speed eye diagram analysis and multi-port linear network analysis.
