Atul Walimb

Atul Walimbe is a Senior Director of R&D Engineering at Synopsys, responsible for developing end to end CAD solutions such as Digital Instance 2.0 for silicon development within Synopsys, and to Synopsys customers. These solutions focus on minimizing the learning curve for engineers and boost their productivity. Prior to joining Synopsys, in a career spanning 3 decades in chip design, Atul developed and deployed CAD solutions for a range of silicon products across consumer microprocessor, GPU and datacenter server segments, leading to over 500 tapeouts. He holds a Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering from Virginia Tech.
