Mike Ellow

Mike Ellow is Chief Revenue Officer and leads the Go-to-Market organization at Synopsys. He brings a wealth of experience and a proven track record of driving growth and customer success in the systems-to-silicon design industry.

Most recently, Mike served as CEO of Siemens EDA, Siemens Digital Industries Software, where he delivered sustained growth through a relentless focus on innovation and customer outcomes. 

With more than 30 years of executive leadership in sales and technical management, Mike has built high-performing global teams and consistently delivered positive, predictable results. In addition to leading Siemens EDA, his career includes leadership roles at Cadence Design Systems, overseeing sales across North America, Europe, and India, and at Berkeley Design Automation, where he served as Vice President of Worldwide Sales before its acquisition by Mentor Graphics in 2014. Prior to Cadence, he held management, marketing, and engineering positions in a number of different industries. He started his career as an electrical engineer at Hughes Aircraft.

Mike holds a BSEE from Lehigh University, an MSEE from the University of Southern California, and an MBA from California State University, Fullerton.
