Kent Lusted

Kent is a Distinguished Architect at Synopsys who has spent the past 14 years helping shape the Ethernet technology as a leader of and contributor to standards. Kent worked at Intel for 30+ years, focused on designing Ethernet board products and performing AN & LT interop debug all over the world. Kent won an Intel Achievement Award in 2002 for his contributions towards delivering the world’s first client and dual-port server Gigabit Ethernet controllers. He is now an integral part of the Ethernet design team at Synopsys and an active contributor and member of the IEEE 802.3 Ethernet PHY standards development leadership team for ~15 years. Kent is currently the electrical track chair for the IEEE 802.3dj Task Force and co-chair for the UALink Data Link and Physical Layer (DL/PL) technical working group.
