Peter Simons

Peter Simons is an ASIC Digital Design Manager at Synopsys, focusing on the development of security IP solutions. He has extensive experience in semiconductor design, hardware security, and Physical Unclonable Function (PUF) technology. Prior to joining Synopsys, Peter spent more than 14 years at Intrinsic ID, where he served as Senior Hardware Architect and contributed to the development of SRAM PUF-based security solutions. Earlier in his career, he held IC architecture and design roles at NXP Semiconductors and Zarlink Semiconductor. Peter holds a Master's degree in Information Engineering and a post-Master's degree in Information and Communication Technology from Eindhoven University of Technology in the Netherlands.
