Gabriele Penazzi
Gabriele Penazzi received his Ph.D. in 2010 from the Department of Electronic Engineering at the University of Rome "Tor Vergata." He first joined Synopsys in 2018 following the acquisition of the Danish company QuantumWise. Prior to his tenure at Synopsys, he worked as a Postdoctoral Researcher in the Department of Physics at the University of Bremen. He is currently a Senior Staff Engineer in the R&D team developing QuantumATK, with professional interests focusing on computational methods for atomistic modeling of electronic structure and charge transport at the nanoscale.
