Carlos Basto
Carlos Basto is a Scientist at Synopsys, where he leads the architecture definition and design of the ARC-V family of RISC-V processor IP. Prior to joining Synopsys in 2010, Carlos held positions at Philips Semiconductors and NXP. He holds a bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering from the Federal University of Pernambuco in Brazil and a master’s degree in engineering management and leadership from Santa Clara University.
