Amir Asif has been working in EDA industry for 9+ years. During this time, he served at application and product engineer roles representing various electromagnetic extraction tools ranging from several finite element, method of moment, hybrid solvers from different vendors. Currently, Amir is working as a Principal Product Engineer at Synopsys with focus on electromagnetic extractions on 3DIC designs. He also worked for Ansys HF team in the past. Amir Asif received his PhD from Clemson University, South Carolina in electrical engineering.
