Wi-Fi Protected Access (WPA) is a security extension to 802.11 networks designed to replace the old and faulty WEP. It uses a separate 4 Way Handshake sequence to negotiate keys for both the Client and the Access Point. It was first specified in the 802.11i drafts, which were later further specified as WPA1 by Wi-Fi Alliance. As the 802.11i specification matured, it became known as WPA2. The test suite is for Linux only. Windows platforms are not supported.
