Synopsys ARC Audio Dolby Digital Plus 7.1 Decoder

The Synopsys ARC® Audio Dolby Digital Plus® 7.1 Decoder enables SoC designers to provide playback of up to 7.1 (multi-) channel digital surround audio in their designs. Dolby Digital Plus (or Enhanced AC-3, E-AC-3) includes up to seven full-range audio channels (left, center, right, left surround, right surround, back surround left, back surround right), plus a supplemental Low-Frequency-Effects (LFE) channel (indicated by the '.1' in 7.1). Dolby Digital Plus is one of the optional decoders for Blu-ray Disc™. Applications include digital TV, set top boxes, HD broadcast, media players, home theater systems and Blu-ray Disc.
