Webisode 1: Advanced Testbench Setup

One of the unique features of SAE is the netlist import flow which enables verification of pure text-based circuit testbenches in a GUI environment. In this webisode, learn how to import a netlist to quickly setup the testbench in SAE, how to modify the imported testbench to add additional setup options including probing from netlist text and adding specifications.

Webisode 2: Managing Simulation ECO Flow

Learn how to netlist and run the simulation once a testbench is setup in SAE, view the results and waveforms and back-annotate operating points to the netlist. One of the applications of the SAE Netlist import flow is the simulation ECO flow. As a highlight of this session, you will also learn how to re-import a modified netlist and rerun an ECO simulation right away while retaining the testbench setup already created.

Webisode 3: Managing Multiple Testbenches

Learn how to set up and run multiple testbenches in SAE and how to create clones of existing testbenches. You will also learn about some of the advanced job distribution and management capabilities in SAE and how to efficiently monitor the progress of all individual simulations using the hierarchical job monitor.

Webisode 4: Running Parametric Sweeps and PVT Corners

Learn how to set up and run Parametric Sweeps and PVT Corners in SAE. You will learn how to efficiently monitor the progress of these iterative runs using SAE’s hierarchical Job Monitor. Once the simulation results are available, you will see how to view them in a tabulated results viewer, how to archive some of those simulation results along with the testbench setup, and how to reload an archived testbench setup using the History tab in SAE.
