Principal Engineer, ARM (SoftBank)

Tom is a Principal Design Engineer in ARM’s (SoftBank) Physical IP Division working specializing in SPICE models and layout parasitic extraction.

Previously, he worked as a SPICE modeling engineer for high-performance BiCMOS processes at both Philips Semiconductor (now NXP) and National Semiconductor, focused on BJT models and passive device models.

Dr. Haiko Morgenstern

Mixed-Signal Verification Engineer, Infineon Technologies

Dr. Morgenstern is a mixed-signal verification engineer at Infineon in Munich, Germany. For the past 16 years, he has been involved in verification methodology and design flow automation, with a focus on top-level, ESD, and EMC verification.

He received his PhD from the Technical University of Berlin in 2011 in the field of ESD Verification and Modelling as part of his broader research in Microelectronics and MEMS.

Sr. Engineer, SK Hynix

Sibaek Jung is a Senior Engineer at SK Hynix, with more than 9 years of experience in CAD engineering.

Mr. Jung is part of the Circuit Simulation CAD team at SK Hynix and his primary areas of focus include post-layout circuit simulation and layout parasitic extraction.

Mr. Jung earned an M.S. in Electrical Engineering from Sogang University in South Korea.

Marco Oliveira is an R&D manager in Synopsys’ Solutions Group (a.k.a. the IP group). Marco is a seasoned engineer with over 17 years of experience in the semiconductor industry. As part of the CAD organization within the Solutions Group, Marco is responsible for deploying new design flows, tools, and methodologies to help improve IP quality, reliability, and time-to-market.

Marco’s primary interests include circuit design, simulation, Monte Carlo analysis, and machine learning. He earned his Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering from Instituto Superior Técnico, in Portugal.
