About CODE V and User Group Meetings

CODE V is a powerful program for the design, analysis, optimization, and tolerancing of optical systems. Its applications range from photographic and video lenses to medical optics, laser scanners, optical disc systems, and optical telecom systems. Although it is easy to use, it is a large and growing program with hundreds of special features and thousands of applications. Documentation, technical support, and training courses are very helpful, but current users also find value in the live, interactive format of the CODE V User Group Meetings. The meetings consist of lectures, discussions, and presentations developed by Synopsys Optical Solutions Group’s technical support and engineering staff.
