The LucidShape CAA V5 Based product is an interactive tool that allows designers to perform optical simulations and analyses of automotive lighting products within the CATIA V5 environment. We are pleased to announce that an updated version, 2017.09 Service Release 2 (2017.09-2) is now available.

What's New: LucidShape CAA V5 Based Version 2017.09 Service Release 2

LucidShape CAA V5 Based version 2017.09 Service Release 2 (2017.09-2) includes the following updates:

  • Outdated simulation results are now easier to identify and update with a new change tracking feature. 
  • The GPUTrace feature supports simulation of models that include volume scattering materials.
  • To improve the usability of the Luminance Camera sensor, reference geometry is now automatically created for the position and orientation of each Luminance Camera position.
  • Bug fixes.
