Issues Resolved in LucidShape 2017.03-1

This service release corrects several issues, including the following:

• CATIA Transfer switched to IGS if STP module was not available. User permission is now required.
• Fixes LTmBSDF material medium definition loading problems.
• Fixes an issue in which refractive BSDF Material created incorrectly on reflective BSDF LID could cause a crash during simulation.
• Fixes an exchange issue with the ray history sensor between LucidShape CAA V5 Based and LucidShape.
• Corrects an issue where Bird’s Eye View results did not match between context menu function and static road scene.
• Fixes an issue where Bird’s Eye View could cause LucidShape to freeze when using wrong parameters.
• Corrects an issue where LucidShape modules influenced licensing status.
• Fixes an issue in which license key files were sensitive to termination date mismatch.
• Test Tables have been updated for turn signals: ECE motorcycle R50, FMVSS 108.
• Resolves an issue where spectral ray files could produce incorrect flux in spectral ray trace modes.
• Fixes spectral ray file simulation noise by sensitivity to the number of spectral channels.
• Corrects an issue where Driver View results did not match between context menu function and static road scene.
• 2D BSDF scatter curve material did not accept a valid curve from BSDF Wizard. Improved curve selection has been implemented.
• Fixes an issue where multiple spectral simulation runs could influence the total flux in certain ray files.
• Fixes an issue with some spectral ray file sources where the ray file sensor’s total flux in header was showing incorrect values.
• Spectral trace with a ray file can now exceed the ray file number of rays in simulation.
• IIHS headlight benchmark glare demerits are now printed correctly in the .CVS export file.

Beginning with version 2017.03, software and license keys for LucidShape and LucidDrive^® products are available on the Synopsys SolvNet website. Please review the following sections for instructions.

Direct-Sales Customers
Software and license keys for LucidShape and LucidDrive direct-sales customers are available on the Synopsys SolvNet website.

• LucidShape/LucidDrive product software: You can download LucidShape products at http://solvnet.synopsys.com/DownloadCenter.

If you do not already have a SolvNet account, information on how to sign up for one can be found in the LucidShape Installation Guide.

• License key: You will need version 2017.03 license keys for this LucidShape release. You can download license keys from the SmartKeys page on SolvNet at https://solvnet.synopsys.com/SmartKeys.
