Cloud native EDA tools & pre-optimized hardware platforms
We are pleased to announce the availability of LucidDrive® version 2017.12.
In this issue:
AFS Masking PixelLight
Pixel light is a type of adaptive front-lighting system (AFS) that provides individual light cell illumination on the road with high resolution. The Masking PixelLight feature detects oncoming and overtaking traffic, calculates its bounding boxes and masks user-definable regions of the provided light distributions to prevent glare.
Real-Time Performance Enhancements
To improve the performance for LucidDrive real-time applications:
Enhanced Memory Management: Automatic Light Distribution Cropping Feature
For some applications, such as Matrix Beam, a large number of individual light distributions is needed. Most of the candela space of these light distributions is empty. This release provides an automatic cropping feature that can crop the candela space with a "lasso" feature to reduce the size of the LID as it is loaded. This can increase the number and speed of light distributions that can be visualized concurrently. This cropping is based on a user-definable intensity value and can be switched off.
