DesignWare OTP IP (formerly Sidense)

Designers face the challenge of creating secure, cost-effective, low power, and reliable designs. Synopsys’ embedded one-transistor, one-time programmable (1T-OTP) technology, based on its patented split-channel 1T-Fuse™ bit-cell architecture, enables designers to address this challenge. Synopsys’ single-transistor bit cell results in better yield, higher security, improved reliability and lower overall product cost.

Synopsys DesignWare® One-Time Programmable (OTP) NVM includes SHF, SiPROM, SLP and ULP for the industry's smallest footprint, low power, fast access times, and high reliability. Available in a standard CMOS process, DesignWare OTP IP does not require any additional mask layers or process steps and provides an alternative to mask ROM, eFuse and Flash memory in many applications. The reduced size of the single transistor bit-cell results in better yield, higher security, improved reliability and lower overall product cost.

Synopsys DesignWare OTP NVM is used in applications such as code storage, encryption keys, analog trimming, identification tags (RFID), and IC configuration
