Dear Synopsys Customer:

If you are using the Synopsys IC WorkBench product on the Sun SPARC Solaris platform please read this letter carefully.

Due to the decline in the demand of the Sun SPARC Solaris platform for IC WorkBench, the Synopsys IC WorkBench product release X-2005.09-SP2, is the last release to support the Sun SPARC Solaris platform. Newer releases of the Synopsys IC WorkBench product will not support the Sun SPARC Solaris platform.

By providing you with this notice, we hope to help minimize your inconvenience in implementing this change. If you are affected by this change, Synopsys is available to assist you in the migration of your Synopsys products to another supported compute platform.

Please refer to the IC WorkBench product documentation for product specific information concerning compute platform support.
