Synopsys Armenia Students Plant Another 50 Trees in SAED Backyard

On March 22, 2014, more than 25 students of the Synopsys Armenia Education Department (SAED) dedicated their time to beautify the Synopsys Armenia Educational Department (SAED) backyard. With the help of ATP staff they planted 50 thuya evergreen trees replacing the dead trees because of the very cold winter, as well as cleaned the surrounding area.

The tree planting is a coordinated outreach effort and is conducted through the Synopsys Community Volunteer Program. Driven by the motto, “One tree for each employee,” as part of its corporate social responsibility (CSR) program, Synopsys Armenia has planted more than 5,000 trees in nine years Synopsys Armenia, The Armenia Tree Project Charitable Foundation (ATP) partners with Synopsys by providing evergreen saplings from its Karin and Khachpar nurseries. ATP also prepares the planting plots and monitors the planted trees as they grow.
