As vice president of sales, Robert Li leads the Sales and Customer Success Group serving Taiwan, South East Asia, and India. He is also the chairman of Synopsys Taiwan. His focus is two-fold. Bringing to market high-value software tools, IP, hardware, design service solutions, and design methodologies is a key area. Also important is his work in building strategic relationships based on enabling customers’ success, cultivating academic partnerships, and talent development.
He joined Synopsys Taiwan in 2003, leading a sales team that covers key accounts and the Greater China foundry business before transitioning to Synopsys China in 2009. In his former role as country manager of Synopsys China, he built and led a strong field team with notable business outcomes and customer relationship.
Robert has more than 25 years’ experience in the wireless communication and semiconductor industries, and holds a doctorate of Electrical Engineering degree from the University of Southern California and an Executive MBA from National Taiwan University.
