HeaSoo Chung
Korea President and Regional Vice President, Sales
HeaSoo Chung joined Synopsys in 2010 to lead the Korea sales team and, as regional vice president, is also the representative director of Synopsys Korea. His collaborative approach is dedicated toward delivering differentiated value to customers. He also promotes cross-business unit collaboration to develop advanced solutions in areas such as design technology co-optimization and low-power design flows that can spur substitutional growth for Synopsys Korea and the company as a whole.
Prior Synopsys, HeaSoo spent 26 years at Samsung, where he was general manager of the Samsung LED business and vice president of System LSI worldwide sales and marketing.
After that he worked for Dongbu Hitech as executive vice president of worldwide sales and general manager of the Mobile/Analog business group for about 3.5 years.
HeaSoo has more than 30 years of semiconductor engineering and sales experience and has been involved in EDA tool and application software development since 1983. He holds a B.S.E.E. from the University of Inha, Korea.
