Randy Kilmon is VP of Engineering at Black Duck by Synopsys where he helps define product strategy and technical roadmap for multiple teams focused on OSS Compliance and Security solutions. The Black Duck Hub won the ‘Best New Security Offering’ award at MassTLC in 2015. In his role, he is an advocate for open source adoption both internally and externally, and has championed initiatives to release code to open source across the organization. Randy has over 15 years of experience in the open source world, working at such companies as Sun Microsystems where he was active in the Java community.
