Mechatronic Design – Saber
The Saber® simulator addresses mechatronic complexity by accelerating Robust Design. Results for OEMs and suppliers include optimizing systems for performance, reliability, and cost; reducing the effects of variation; and using repeatable processes to create 1,000s of virtual prototypes. Applications include power distribution & management, in-vehicle networking, powertrain, engine control, braking & safety systems, wire harness design, and hybrid-electric vehicle design and control.

Embedded Software – Innovator
Virtual platforms are effective for accelerating software development to the pre-silicon phase. Synopsys’ Innovator provides an integrated SystemC development environment for assembling transaction-level virtual platforms using models from various sources as well as newly created ones. Combined with Synopsys services and the DesignWare® System-level Library of ready-to-use TLMs (transaction-level models) and pre-assembled reference platforms, Innovator improves overall design productivity by enabling concurrent hardware and software development prior to silicon availability.
