DesignWare® ARC™ Audio Adaptive Multi Rate Wide Band Plus (AMR-WB+) software for the DesignWare ARC Sound AS211SFX and AS221BD audio processors consists of a speech system for devices such as tablets, mobile phones and voice over IP (VoIP) applications. Compared to AMR-WB, AMR-WB+ provides a wider bandwidth and higher sampling rates in order to deliver a better audio experience.

Sampling frequency 16-48 kHz with a sample size of 16 bits

Comfort Noise Generation (CNG)
Discontinuous Transmission (DTX)
Robust to memory latency: 62 MHz processor load at 100 cycles latency
