Learning Services
The Learning Services Department is committed to providing opportunities for Synopsys employees to fulfill their highest potential. We support their development through a variety of programs that stress participative learning and the practical application of new skills and concepts. Community Outreach
The mission of the Synopsys Corporate Giving Committee is to support the communities in which we live and work, and the natural environment that sustains us. We accomplish this by:
  • Devoting corporate and individual resources to help others
  • Advocating (fostering) and effecting necessary social changes.

The company encourages and supports employee participation in carrying out this mission, and intends to make a lasting difference.

Through the Synopsys Corporate Giving Committee, we're active in numerous outreach projects. Within the last year, volunteers:

  • Spruced-up the interior and grounds of the San Jose (CA) Family Shelter which provides temporary housing for families in transition.
  • Removed storm-related debris and trash from the Coyote Creek in San Jose.
  • Sponsored a relief drive for the homeless and injured people in Kobe, Japan, following January's devastating earthquake.
  • Participated in San Francisco's Aids Walk.
  • Completed a Summer food drive to support the Second Harvest Food Bank.

Synopsoids (as we like to call our people) also regularly donate new and used clothing and small appliances to the local community services organizations for the benefit of low income families.
