To support Synopsys' mission of improving the quality of life and economic vitality of our community, the Synopsys Foundation provides a variety of programs to ensure our global citizenship objectives are met. Current programs include:

Synopsys Outreach Foundation
The cornerstone of the Synopsys Foundation is the "Synopsys Outreach Foundation". Founded in 1999, the Outreach Foundation supports K-12 teachers and students engaged in project-based learning through science fairs. Since its' inception, more than 215,000 students and teachers have participated in the program.

Matching Gift Program
Synopsys ensures that employees dictate where a portion of the Foundation funds are spent by providing a matching gift program for employees. Synopsys will match employee donations to non-profit organizations and educational institutions in North America. In FY06, we plan to roll this program out to select offices around the world.

Science and Math Education Donations
Synopsys has been making direct donations to non-profit organizations since 1992. We continue to focus our donations on K-12 science, math and technology projects that inspire the next generation of technology leaders. To that end, Synopsys hopes to make a lasting and measurable difference in the fields we know best.

Disaster Relief
Synopsys has a history of providing disaster relief donations where Synopsys has a significant business presence. We typically provide an employee match through the American Red Cross.
