Video Compression ICs

Global Mil-Aero Company

This company's verification throughput was a significant concern and was mainly in the area of gate-level simulation. Their smallest testbench took anywhere from 12 to over 26 times longer to run on their other verification environment when compared to VCS. The customer saw their largest performance gains when using VCS with multicore enabled (Figure 2).
