PrimeTime SIG at SNUG Japan 2011
A PrimeTime SIG event was held in Tokyo, Japan during SNUG on Wednesday, September 7, 2011.
Two hundred PrimeTime users and managers attended the event from more than forty semiconductor companies.
The theme of this SIG was PrimeTime HyperScale Technology.
PrimeTime users worldwide are beginning to deploy the HyperScale technology because they are realizing up to 10 times runtime and capacity benefits for full chip timing analysis. In addition, the HyperScale technology in combination with the latest ECO guidance technology is improving their overall time to timing closure.

Ohashi-san presented Panasonic's experience with HyperScale. She highlighted the 10X runtime and memory advantages that significantly improves their TAT while continuingly providing the same accuracy as full-chip flat STA analysis. She also shared example reports of detailed block and top level boundary checks that are helpful for quick design closures.
