Synopsys' DesignWare® embedded non-volatile memory (NVM) IP offers a comprehensive family of multiple time programmable (MTP) and few time programmable (FTP) embedded NVM IP solutions for a broad range of standard CMOS processes. Each solution is optimized for specific markets and use models.
- AEON® / MTP EEPROM: Optimized for endurance and reliability, the AEON / MTP EEPROM family supports bit counts up to 8-kbit and endurance up to 1,000,000 write / erase cycles, all in a standard CMOS process. AEON / MTP EEPROM is focused on 3 areas:
- Analog / Micro Electro Mechanical Systems (MEMS): Targeting EEPROM replacement in analog and mixed signal SoCs
- High Voltage: Operation up to 150°C and qualification testing compliant with automotive AEC-Q100 standards
- Advanced Process Nodes: The only MTP available in 65-nm and 40-nm standard CMOS processes
- AEON / MTP Radio Frequency Identification (RFID): Optimized for low-power performance, the AEON / MTP RFID family is targeted at RFID and near field communication (NFC) tag applications.
- AEON / FTP Trim: Optimized for area and targeted at performance trimming in analog and mixed-signal designs, the AEON / FTP Trim family provides the flexibility of reprogrammable NVM that is area competitive with one-time programmable (OTP) solutions
- NOVeA: Developed on IBM's Trusted Foundry processes, the NOVeA family delivers MTP NVM that is used in a wide range of commercial and mil / aero applications.
