Dr. Chi-Feng Wu is Director, Design Technology Department at Realtek Semiconductor Corporation. He joined Realtek in 2001 and is currently the Director of the Design Technology Department. He is responsible for design technology and system-on-chip platform, including methodologies and automation of digital/analog/physical designs, reusable IP design and test, and EDA/IP outsourcing strategy. Dr. Chi-Feng Wu received his B.S., Master's and Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering from National Tsing Hua University, Taiwan. His research interests include the design and test of VLSI cores and systems.
Dr. Meng-Han Hsieh, Director, Design Platform Division, Design Technology, MediatekIn 2011, Dr. Meng-Han Hsieh joined Mediatek Inc. as the Director of Design Platform Division and is responsible for the design methodology of ESL, design verification and system level profiling technologies. Dr. Hsieh received his Ph.D. in electronic engineering from National Chiao-Tung University, Hsinchu, Taiwan, in 1998. After two years of mandatory military service, in 2000, he joined Realtek Semiconductor Inc. Dr. Hsieh was involved with leading roles/positions in many key product and technologies development. Major areas of his technical and project leading contributions include Realtek's Ethernet PHY developments including 10/100/1000 Ethernet PHY and MAC controller, and low power design and methodology of Ethernet products.
Mr. Thomas Hsieh, Vice President at Genesys Logic, Inc.Mr. Thomas Hsieh is Vice President of the Corporate R&D Division at Genesys Logic which he joined in 2011. His major focus is in VLSI design implementation and design verification. Mr. Hsieh received his Master's in Computer Science from National Tsing Hua University, Taiwan in 1989.
Dr. Chun-Lung Hsu, Technical Vice Director at ICL, ITRIChun-Lung Hsu worked as an assistant/associate professor in the Department of Electrical Engineering, National Dong Hwa University (NDHU), Hualien, Taiwan, R.O.C. from 2000 to 2011. The major research in his laboratory is three dimensional IC design and testing and tolerance scheme development for image system. Mr. Hsu is currently working as a technical Vice-Director in ICL, ITRI and a member of the IEICE, IET, and IEEE Society. Chun-Lung Hsu received his Ph.D. in electrical engineering from National Taiwan University, Taipei, Taiwan, R.O.C. in 2000. Hsu is interested in the relationship of low-power circuit design, consumer electronics development, system on a chip design and VLSI testing.
Mr. Wen-Liang Hsu, Director at Nuvoton Technology CorporationWen-Liang Hsu is Director, Design Technology Service Division at Nuvoton Technology Corporation. His major focus is in CAD. Mr. Hsu received his BS in Control Engineering, his Master's in Electronic Engineering from National Chiao-Tung University, and EMBA from National Taiwan University.
Ms. Shu-Yi Kao, Director at Realtek Semiconductor CorporationShu-Yi Kao is Director, Design Technology Department at Realtek Semiconductor Corp. Ms. Kao joined Realtek in 1999 and is currently Director of Design Technology Dept. She is responsible for design technology, including digital/analog/physical design methodologies, design automation, reusable IP implementation and SOC physical implementation. Shu-Yi Kao received her B.S. and Masters in Computer Science from National Chiao Tung University, Taiwan.
Mr. Chen-Hsing Lo, Director at Mstar Semiconductor Chen-Hsing Lo is Director of APR Division at Mstar Semiconductor, Inc., responsible for SoC/ASIC implementation, CAD automation, design methodology development and Turnkey services to mass production. Mr. Lo has dedicated more than 17 years to complex SoC implementation and taped out hundreds of chips from 0.35um to 28nm process node. He now handles the APR Division for Soc/ASIC integration and turnkey services. Chen-Hsing Lo received a Master's Degree in Electrical Engineering from Kaohsiung Polytechnic Institute, Kaohsiung.
Dr. Cheng-Hung Luo, Deputy Division Director at UMC Dr. Luo is Deputy Director of UMC IP Development and Design Support Division at UMC. He was Director of Design Technology Development Division and Assembly & Testing Logistics Division, Silicon Integrated Systems Corp. from 2001 to 2013. He also served at Electronics Research & Service Organization, ITRI from 1997 to 2001. Dr. Luo was born in 1969. He received Ph.D. in Materials Engineering from National Tsing-Hua University.
Mr. Kevin Tseng, Director at Global Unichip Corporation Kevin Tseng is responsible for IC design methodology development for advanced technology nodes (28nm/20nm/16nm) at Global Unichip Corporation (GUC). In the past few years, GUC has been very successful on high performance CPU core, low power design, advance DFT solution and complex hierarchical SoC design.
Mr. Kun-Cheng Wu, Associate Vice President at Faraday Technology CorporationKun-Cheng Wu is Associate Vice President, SoC and SIP Development and Service at Faraday Technology Corporation. Mr. Wu joined Faraday in 1998 and handles the design service and methodology development for the ASIC business. He is a master at design flow and IP technology development and engages the EDA solution to design methodology. Kun-Cheng Wu received his Master's degree of Computer Science from National Chiao-Tung University, Hsinchu.
Mr. Wen-Hung Wu, Director at ALI Corporation Wen-Hung Wu is Director of Design Tech. & Service Division at ALI Corporation, responsible for design technology, CAD Automation, SoC integration services, turnkey services to mass production and manufacturing related technology. Mr. Wu has rich experience in SoC design service, high speed bus PI/SI/EMI design, project engagement, CAD environment and methodology planning. He handles Design Tech. Division for missions of SOC design integration & turnkey services. Wen-Hung Wu received his Master's degree from VLSI/CAD group of EE department, NCKU & Bachelor degree from EE department of National Chen Kung University.
